My private practice currently focuses on providing individual and family therapy for children, adolescents and young adults. I also conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for school aged children, adolescents and young adults with various learning challenges such as ADHD, dyslexia, other reading/writing problems, and math difficulties.
With psychoeducational testing, I work independently to provide clinical interviewing, test administration, report writing and feedback to families and do not use or supervise a psychometrist or another clinician to complete any aspect of these assessments.
My therapy clients include individuals struggling with issues such as behavior problems, opposition, ADHD/LD, anger/aggression, anxiety, grief/loss, stress reactions, and mood instability. The age range of my clients typically spans from 5 years old to young adulthood.
While my approach to therapy is fairly eclectic, I tend to formulate treatment plans based on evidenced based strategies that are tailored to my clients specific needs and unique experiences. I often utilize aspects of Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT) including Trauma-Focused CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, self-psychology and existential theories.
